DIY Card Holders Made From Repurposed Wine Corks

Looking for a fun and simple way to display your business cards? Try wine corks!

Materials needed:
3 wine corks

hot glue gun & glue sticks
small hack saw
hand clamp
cutting board
sand paper

Process:

  • Cut one of the three wine corks in half using the small hack saw. While not absolutely essential, I like holding the cork with some kind of clamp to give my fingers some distance from the saw. I found these small hand clamps are the right size and apply the right amount of pressure. Saw half way, then flip the cork over and saw from the opposite end.
  • Sand the flat surface of both pieces of cut cork. Your cut may not be perfectly centered and this is where you even up the two pieces.
  • Hot glue the bottom flat pieces together first. Then, glue the full corks to the top. Voilà!
