Transform a simple t-shirt into colorful string
Materials Needed:
- t-shirt
- scissors
- optional: rotary cutter & mat
Process:
- Fold shirt almost in half
- Cut off bottom seam of shirt
- Cut 1″ strip STOP before cutting through 2nd fold
- Repeat (areas of t-shirt that are printed will not make string)
- Hold un-cut area in one hand and make diagonal cuts to create continuous strip
- Pull t-shirt strip to form string
Kelcey created Cloud 9 Workshop in 2012. The business name came to her while rocking her youngest in the wee hours of a warm summer morning.
