Summer Camp 2022
Cloud 9 Workshop Summer Camps An opportunity for kids to explore, invent, experiment and CREATE using up-cycled materials & a variety of art media. Workshops are taught by certified art educators & working artists experienced in teaching. They are designed to inspire creativity and integrate practical skills such as sewing, basic tool use, problem solving & math.

SEWING CAMP NOTES
- New to sewing? No worries! Sewing camp size is kept small and our curriculum is designed by licensed and experienced teachers for both beginner and intermediate skill levels.
- All camps provide an introduction and overview of machine sewing. Each camp will also teach additional techniques and skills specific to the projects being made.
- Camp projects listed can sometimes be modified or changed as the camp evolves. Our priority is the camper, not the stuff. We will make adjustments were needed along the way to make the experience awesome for all!
GUEST INSTRUCTOR
Meagan Hahn is a licensed and experienced art teacher. Meagan will be teaching three camps that she has designed specifically for middle & high school students including: Pixel Play Photography, Art beTWEEN the Pages & Textiles for Teens.
COVID NOTES
As the Covid situation continues to evolve and new information is made available, Cloud 9 Workshop will continue to adapt our programs and update our safety procedures. At this time, we plan to hold most of our camps indoors at the studio.
To ensure the health and wellbeing of our students, families, and volunteers, Cloud 9 Workshop is committed to implementing procedures to create a safe environment for all of our summer camps. Our summer camps have changed in order to provide the same engaging art experiences as always, yet taking new measures to ensure the health and safety of our students, families and volunteers.
What you can expect for summer 2022:
- Your child’s health and safety will be our first priority.
- Face coverings will be required for staff and participants at all times.
- Modified drop-off and pick-up procedures. Parents or other caregivers will not be allowed in the building during class time.
- Increased sanitation including frequent hand washing and cleaning between workshop sessions and nightly.
- A Cloud 9 Workshop summer camp experience that provides your child with the chance to explore new ideas, create eco-art and make new friends.
